Oct. 16, 2020 – The Jesuits USA Central and Southern (UCS) Province is offering two online retreats for Advent: one in Vietnamese and one in English. The Vietnamese retreat will take place from Nov. 29 – Dec. 5, 2020; the English version will be Dec. 6 – 12, 2020.
Led by Fr. Hung Pham, SJ, and colleagues, these retreats will focus on praying for healing and reconciliation.
The retreat will be held online in light of the ongoing pandemic. Each of the seven nights will feature the same basic structure: a period of “gathering” reserved for small group sharing, followed by evening prayer, a spiritual talk/points, then some closing comments which will be concluded with an Examen.
Each evening, the program will begin at 7 p.m. Central Time and conclude around 8:45.
In addition to the nightly program, participants are encouraged to spend an additional hour in personal reflection or spiritual exercise each day, adapted to the participants’ daily schedule and personal needs and circumstances.
