The Jesuits USA Central and Southern Province is accepting donations for the Central American (CAM) Province of the Society of Jesus to aid the thousands of people who have been impacted by Hurricanes Eta and Iota.
In Nicaragua, Honduras and Guatemala, the storms’ high winds and resulting flooding have destroyed homes, roads, businesses and stores. In El Salvador, the massive amounts of water are causing destructive and dangerous landslides.
As many as 150 people have died so far, and thousands are without drinking water, food and basic supplies.
The CAM Province will distribute funds raised to various organizations assisting people in need across the province.
