April, 14, 2022 – The Most Rev. Mark Seitz, Bishop of El Paso, will be the featured speaker at the final stop on Fr. Provincial Thomas Greene’s Ignatian Year pilgrimage.
Bishop Seitz’s presentation, entitled Migrating with the Migrant: The Rich Possibilities for Spiritual Accompaniment of the Migrant Poor, will follow the 6:00 p.m. Mass on Saturday, May 14, 2022, at Sacred Heart Parish in El Paso, Texas.

The Most Rev. Mark J. Seitz, D.D., was named the sixth Bishop of El Paso in 2013 by Pope Francis. As a prelate serving a border community, Bishop Seitz has emphasized unity with the poor and vulnerable, including migrants and refugees. “The bishop believes that migrants add inestimable value to the communities where they live and that parishes and community members should welcome them with compassion, love and solidarity.” (From the Diocese of El Paso website)
