Oct. 10, 2018 – Friends of the Maryland and USA Northeast Provinces visited the Metropolitan Museum in New York City on Sept. 27 for a guided tour of Heavenly Bodies: Fashion and the Catholic Imagination, led by Fr. Leo O’Donovan, SJ, president emeritus of Georgetown University and arts commentator for the National Catholic Review. The collaborative event welcomed some 20 guests with Ignatian ties to multiple Jesuit works on the East Coast, and the group of 20 guests toured the galleries prior to the museum’s official hours, later taking part in a guided conversation and lunch at the nearby Jesuit Center on 83rd Street.
