Feb. 4, 2021 – The Jesuit Family has created many wonderful opportunities for you to deepen your relationship with God during Lent. With gratitude for the ingenuity and generosity of our colleagues, we are happy to share this list – compiled by the Jesuit Friends and Alumni Network – with you:

Falling in Love with Jesus – a virtual retreat offered by this retreat.

Lenten Day of Prayer – White House Retreat in St. Louis is offering three one-day retreats. Each day will include two morning conferences, lunch, an afternoon conference and the Eucharist. Priests will be available for the Sacrament of Reconciliation.

Individually Directed Prayer Retreats – The Ignatian Spirituality Center of Kansas City, Mo., is offering individually-directed prayer retreats for six or eight weeks during Lent. There are three different retreat materials to choose from.

From Ashes to Glory (Examen during Lent by Joe Tetlow, SJ) – From Ashes to Glory invites you to take up the practice of reflecting on your day, its gifts and graces, and the progress you are making in life with Christ. It’s a way of praying the Examen through Lent, with materials by Fr. Joseph Tetlow, SJ.

Livestreamed Stations of the Cross – Immaculate Conception Church in Baton Rouge, La., will live stream Stations of the Cross on Friday evenings at 6:00 p.m.

An Ignatian Guide to Lent – This Lent, the Jesuit Conference invites you to use Ignatian spirituality to breathe new insight into these sacred rituals. Learn about Lent and about Ignatian spirituality through the lived experiences of fellow practitioners.

Jesuit Prayer – Receive the daily Scripture reading, an Ignatian reflection, and a short prayer each day through the app, on the website, or by signing up for the daily email. We also offer personal responses to prayer requests; all are remembered in Masses celebrated by the Jesuits.

Ignatian Guide to Forgiveness: Lenten Read-Along – Join in a special Lenten read-along with Loyola Press. We’ll be reading The Ignatian Guide to Forgiveness: 10 Steps to Healing at a relaxed pace that will allow time to savor the reading during Lent.

Growing in Friendship with God this Lent – This Lent, grow in your friendship with God the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit with a special series by the dotMagis bloggers. We share Fr. Barry’s meditations for the Wednesdays of Lent and a reflection inspired by each on

Arts & Faith: Lent – Each week you’ll find a video commentary about a work of art inspired by the Sunday Scriptures. Use these videos to take a new look at this season of spiritual renewal through the lens of sacred art.

Lenten Resources from Xavier University – A variety of resources and prayers for Lent.

Midwest Jesuits Way of the Cross – Reflections on the 14 Stations of the Cross written by Jesuits and lay colleagues from the Midwest province.  Available in written or audio format.

400 Minutes 4 Refugees – Join JRS/US in our Lenten challenge by offering moments of your day to prayer, fasting, and almsgiving in solidarity with refugees.
